Two Gents Productions continue their exploration and interpretation of Shakespeare with a production that focuses on the black characters in Shakespeare's plays.

Outside of the dramatic universe that Shakespeare created, characters like Othello from the Merchant of Venice, Aaron from Titus Andronicus and Caliban from the Tempest are given room to expand. We see the story behind the ‘Moors'.

Exploring issues that are as topical and controversial as ever, Two Gents present a play that delves into the sense of displacement felt by Shakespeare's characters and relate it to their own experiences as black men in a white world.

Newly devised material sits alongside historical texts in this unique production, presented in Two Gents' signature ‘Township' style.
