Interracial is a story within a story. It is about relationships and overcoming the boundaries between black and white.

A white homeless man living with his black girlfriend in a public park befriends a suicidal black youth but can their friendship conquer the feelings of guilt for the past and apprehension for the future?

Elsewhere a lustful interracial affair is taking place between a black man and a married white woman, unpacking a host of repugnant attitudes between the two races.

As the two stories unfold they become increasingly intertwined, as does fact and fiction and illusion and reality.
