This site specific spectacular is particularly suitable for Clubs and Festivals.
House of the Holy Afro is a slick, glamorous package of Afro-kitsch to electrify your eyes, ears and bodies on the dance floor!
A highly polished, genre-busting, late-night club show, House of the Holy Afro dances to the multicultural pulse of 21st Century Africa, where gospel, poetry and dance come together in an explosion of driving club rhythms, soaring harmonies, electric dance, hip poetry and dazzling lighting.
House of the Holy Afro is sophisticated, sexy, provocative and stylish; it fuses African and European, urban and traditional, gospel and nightclub, Afro-pop and Sangoma trance. It is hip, flash and proudly South African.
House of the Holy Afro weaves all these influences and melodies together with the jolting beats of electro-house and modern dance to create a highly stylised package of Afro-kitsch that will electrify the eyes, ears and bodies of everyone on the dance floor.
“An audacious and wildly energetic fusion of the urban and traditional, this is an explosive night that will have the whole house on its feet and shaking their stuff… South Africa’s hottest noise sharmans” Rip it up (Adelaide)
“Life-affirming aural and physical chaos” - Daily Telegraph
